We have just had a wonderful meal at the Vale fusion restaurant. Every part of the meal was a fantastic culinary experience, my taste buds are still buzzing! We sat down and were treated to the very best attention and food possible and after being introduced to the brilliant chef we undertook a gastronomic tour of India. Very highly rated and with a dynamic new look being introduced to the old building this looks like a venue to keep watching for the future.

Looks like their plan was to mark down all the opposition in Four in a Bed so that they could win. That award is tainted and they don't deserve any extra business because of it.

5 star rating. Mark the owner was really nice and friendly. He loves the job, when you meet him you can tell this. The accommodation was really nice. The rooms were peaceful and quiet. The bed really comfy and the bathroom a good size. Pets are welcome. This really gave me a big smile. We came with our dog. All his staff love pets. The food in the Indian was delicious. The Indian chef made the Indian side of the restaurant super. The Thai part was also delicious. Very good service. I think this is the perfect place for a winter getaway as me and my wife have just come back. We loved it. It is near all of the Cotswolds places to visit. I couldn’t fault anything with the premises or the staff. They made our stay super.

Room is small but cosy. Mark was extremely helpful and welcoming upon arrival. I really like the location and the pub downstairs is vibrant but people seem to be respectful. Love the view, on the highstreet since I like to people watch and shower in great condition. Great use of space.

The best roast dinner in Cricklade with the perfect amount of gravy. SO much food and really good value. Staff were really friendly too.

The hotel turns off the heating at 2 am, leaving the room extremely cold, and there’s no hot water in the shower. Because of the cold, I ended up with cystitis, and I’m very disappointed with this place.

Used this place as a stop overnight with my dog to break up a long journey. Smooth check in remotely via a spiral staircase at the rear of the building as I was a late arrival. The ensuite shower room and bedroom were clean. Had a comfortable night's sleep. Well placed for accessing the Thameslink path

We come here for food with friends, food was amazing so tasty and what a lovely warm welcoming atmosphere. Goat curry was especially good 👍 we don’t live far and will definitely be coming back for more food. Beautiful spot, Cricklade is such a pretty little village. Highly recommend

We stayed here for a night along the Thames Path. We contacted the hotel and the owner let us in early once he was back in. The room was a good size, but with no view from the window. The en suite was adequate. If we came this way again we would definitely consider stopping here. It doesn't have a car park but the village car park is close and free to use.

Great central location for the Cotswolds water park area. Mark and the team are friendly and welcoming. Spiral staircase is interesting! Bar is cosy and great place for food.

Lovely place to stay, clean and spacious rooms, we had a great time with our dog. The attached Thai restaurant is to die for, had the best meal there. All in all, excellent hotel and would recommend

‼️ DO NOT STAY‼️ Many things wrong with here, first off very very noisy, all the way from 8am to about 2am, and then again from 5:30am to about 11am. Facilities weren’t up to scratch, but they got enough booze for you downstairs! Bed wasn’t comfy and the toilet bowl cleaner holder was filled with water. Water didn’t work properly when taking a shower; so it was a cold, cold, cold and then finally hot, but got cold again. Oh and they don’t provide breakfast either! Whats the point of being a b and b if your such a B? A rundown place, ran by alcoholic chavs who need alcohol any and everywhere they stay, this place needs to be shut down, and fast! ‼️‼️

I arrived early but couldn’t check in before 5pm which was annoying. It looks quite ugly and run-down from outside so i had a bad first impression. Parking is free and easy outside. The rooms are actually decent and nice. The floors are really wonky & squeeky, especially the corridor. The backdoor entrance is good, but the stairs is a bit flimsy and feels unstable. Very easy to slip. Overall, i would come back here just to sleep and stay at a place quickly. There is a park nearby, Tesco Local, and some shops. I came to just sleep here overnight, while spending the day elsewhere.

Staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. There's free parking a short distance from the hotel. I'd happily stay here again.

Had a really lovely stay here, staff were really friendly and helpful, the room was spotless, and the bed was comfortable. It was a quiet and peaceful night. There's a lovely roof terrace overlooking the church too, which we'd definitely have taken advantage of if it wasn't cold and rainy! Unfortunately I can't comment on the food as we had a reservation elsewhere, but it certainly smelled good when we went past the kitchen.

We stayed at the hotel 1 night and ate at the restaurant. The room had everything you need and Mark looked after us like family. The food in the restaurant was divine. We can't wait to come back after the renovations!
